Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Jason Howard grew up in Pikeville, KY and is an alumni of Pikeville High School. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky prior to earning his Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He is a member of the American Optometric Society as well as the Kentucky Optometric Association. Dr. Howard and his wife Carrie live in Pikeville and are the proud parents of two daughters, Kristen and Sara Kate. He is a member of Cornerstone Christian Church where he is active with their youth program. His other hobbies include golfing, fishing and travel....
Dr. Epling is from Pikeville, KY and graduated from Pikeville High school in 2015. She then went on to graduate from Morehead State University in 2019. Dr. Epling continued her education at the Kentucky College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in May, 2024. During her time at KYCO she became a member of the AOA, KOA, and Lion’s Club treasurer. Dr. Epling served patients as a student extern at MyEyeDr in Wilmington, NC and Eye Physicians of Southwest Virginia in Abingdon, VA. Dr. Epling currently resides in Pikeville, KY with her husband, Josh Epling and their newest member of the family Brooks Epling. She is passionate about Pikeville and giving back to the community where she was raised....
